Meet Our Board of Advisors
The student team is supported by advice from our Board of Advisors, who are local educators, administrators, or community members who have graciously volunteered their time to help the admin team think through growth opportunities.
John Bradley moved to the Vassar College campus 4 years ago and works in the Vassar Education Collaboration, which connects approximately 120 Vassar students annually to community service through three education outreach programs mostly focused on the City of Poughkeepsie school students. John's previous work experience includes over twenty years in health care administration and ten years as the Executive Director of a non-profit agency in New Haven, CT that provided housing to people who were chronically homeless. John is a graduate of Yale University with a degree in History and has an MBA. In his spare time, John plays tennis, swims, and enjoys the company of his family, which includes his wife and three grown children.
Kris Giangreco is the Director of Special Projects at the Poughkeepsie City School District. She has over 18 years of experience in K-12 Education as a teacher, building level administrator, and district level administrator. She is a firm believer that the collaboration of school, community, and families leads to the best possible education for students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and son.
Benjamin Horst is the co-founder and CEO of Sivana, a mentoring and tutoring marketplace and technology platform that supports learning and educational collaboration around the United States and the world. Prior to launching Sivana in 2020, Ben spent many years in the technology industry holding roles with Bloomberg LP, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Six Apart, and other startups. Currently living in New York City, he is a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, NY, Vassar College and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His two children attend public school in Queens, New York.
